Serious About Trans Fat

Jesters Pies are made using pastry shortening that contains less than 1% trans fats, thereby being classified as Virtually Trans Fat Free (VTF).
Trans fats are a type of ‘bad’ fat linked to a variety of health problems.
Trans fats occur naturally in meat and dairy products, and are artificially created in much greater amounts by hydrogenating vegetable oils (so they keep longer).
